mining activities, including exploration, project development, construction, operations, and closure.<\/p>\n<p>Within the scope of its Integrated Management Systems, our Company conducts its activities in line with its sustainability and continual improvement objectives, adopting the principle of full compliance with the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System, and other applicable environmental standards.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, we are committed to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring full compliance with national environmental legislation and all applicable legal requirements,<\/li>\n<li>Adopting internationally recognized standards and good practices, including the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System, Equator Principles, IFC Performance Standards, EBRD Environmental and Social Policies, and the International Cyanide Management Code (ICMC),<\/li>\n<li>Implementing an effective Environmental Management System that identifies, assesses, and controls environmental risks and impacts,<\/li>\n<li>Continually improving our environmental performance by establishing environmental objectives and targets,<\/li>\n<li>Regularly reviewing the effectiveness of the system through monitoring, measurement, and auditing activities,<\/li>\n<li>Systematically managing environmental risks, emergency situations, and opportunities,<\/li>\n<li>Preventing pollution at source and minimizing environmental impacts,<\/li>\n<li>Improving environmental performance through the use of the most appropriate and practicable technologies,<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the efficient use of energy and natural resources,<\/li>\n<li>Continuously monitoring and calculating our Carbon Footprint and Water Footprint, reducing natural resource consumption, utilizing renewable energy sources, and reducing raw water consumption through rainwater and snowmelt harvesting,<\/li>\n<li>Considering the impacts of climate change in our business processes, promoting practices aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and consistently pursuing continual improvement activities related to energy efficiency,<\/li>\n<li>Reducing waste generation and promoting reuse and recycling,<\/li>\n<li>Minimizing emissions and environmental impacts,<\/li>\n<li>Protecting biodiversity, minimizing the adverse impacts of our activities, and carrying out the rehabilitation of areas affected by mining activities in a planned and timely manner,<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining open, transparent, and continuous communication with employees, contractors, suppliers, and local communities,<\/li>\n<li>Taking stakeholder views into consideration and integrating them into decision-making processes,<\/li>\n<li>Providing regular information on environmental performance,<\/li>\n<li>Providing training to enhance the environmental awareness of employees and business partners,<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to the development of environmental awareness within local communities,<\/li>\n<li>Encouraging our business partners, contractors, and suppliers to act in accordance with this Policy,<\/li>\n<li>Regularly reviewing and continually improving our Environmental Management System and this Policy,<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that this Policy is communicated to all employees
