The Social Accountability Management System (SA8000):2014 is a global social standard developed by Social Accountability International (SAI) to improve working conditions worldwide. Based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, International Labor Organization (ILO) conventions, and national labor laws, this system represents a management model that is auditable, transparent, and voluntary.
Altınkale Mining will base all its operations on the SA8000 standards and ensure that this management system is fully integrated into its corporate structure. Our company will ensure full compliance with global standards in critical areas—including the prevention of child labor, the elimination of forced and compulsory labor, maintaining the highest standards of occupational health and safety, and respecting the rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining—not only in its own operations but also across all its subcontractors.
Furthermore, universal norms regarding the prevention of discrimination, fair disciplinary practices, legal working hours, equitable compensation, and effective management systems will be meticulously applied, and certification processes will be conducted with this same level of diligence.
